Hi Guys,

I would like to know your Piaggio type, the typical usage and your odometer number.

I'm interested in, because I bought a Beverly 250 ie. (2006) with 17.000km in the last year, but I can't believe, that you, Italian guys don't use your Beverly heavier.

So in the first row here is mine:

Beverly 250 (2006) - 8600km/year - 25600km current odometer.

(I hope, this is a good place for this thread)

Hi,
Citazione
I can't believe, that you, Italian guys don't use your Beverly heavier.
as I know, isn't really true... about me:
Beverly Tourer 400, May 2008, about 20000km/year, 115000km, actually.
And I know some others friends that have similar mileage.

What was the biggest service issue with your scooter? For example: chain, valves etc? Are there changed ?

Chain? Valves? what is theese?
in the manteinnance planning there are not mentioned valve and relative chain until 70000km and so you might probably control that or what its status and after you can decide about the change. In my Beverly with over 55000km and 15000km for year there is no problem for that, i control the valve clearence every 25000km only and i replace oil transmission every 20000km, it's the unical precautions i take in consideration

none at all!
Actually I'm planning an huge engine revision, but until today I've never changed/controlled anything in the engine, except water pump and fuel injector. I can ear valves noise (so, they're OK), but I'm earing a principle of chain noise, so I'm planning to change the chain and register valves, along a possible engine tune-up (head, piston etc.).

Do you have any oil consumption?

Others? What is your odometer now?

Hi,
oil consunption is normal, less than 3-400 cc between change: about the same as new, I don't need to refill oil.
No issues other than chain noise, but I know that if I want check the head (valves and compression), then I should check/change at lest the piston.
Currently, due to weather, I'm planning to use my Beverly from April's second half, so I'm stuck on 115.000 km.

I understood my "Others?" question like "Other club members? What is your current odometer?" - because I know yours and Lele73's, but others odometer?

You said: you don't need to refill your oil. But if it burn 3-400cc, then you must refill under the change periods, because your oil level will be under the minimum! Or not?

Hi,
well, correct... "others" is "others club members": see here, here and here (this last is mine, last summer...).
Perhaps that if you make a search, you can find several others with quite similar mileage, in the forum.
If my engine burns 3-400 cc of oil between change, I don't need to refill oil, because from maximum it simply get minimum level, not above.
